Color: Dark, reddish-brown.
Size: 1/16 to 1/8-inch (1.5 to 3.3 mm) long.
Eggs: They are laid in batches of up to 20, usually on the host itself.
Location: Found through out the World.
Food: Blood from dogs, cats, birds, rats and even humans.
