Indianmeal moth

 

Indianmeal moth (Plodia interpunctella)

Color: Their forewings are bronze, copper, or dark gray in color, while the upper half are yellowish-gray, with a dark band at the intersection between the two.
Size: 3/8-inch (8–10 mm) in length with 1/2 to 3/4 inch (16–20 mm) wingspans.
Egg: they can lay between 60 and 400 eggs.
Location: Through out United States.
Food: Common grain-feeding pest found around the world, feeding on cereals and dry grain products. They can also be found in dried fruits, powdered milk, cornmeal, flour, raisins, prunes, nuts, chocolate, candies, health food and seeds, bird seed, dog and cat food, fish food, graham crackers, dried red peppers, pastas, etc.
