Dual-Action Termite Protection System
Protect Your Home! We are committed to helping you monitor or remove termites from your property so it is protected from these destructive insects.
Professional Termite Control for Southeast Homeowners
Subterranean termites are the dominant species across the Southeast — and GA, NC, SC, TN, and TX are all high-risk states year-round due to warm temperatures and moisture.
The warm clay soils common across Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville create ideal conditions for subterranean colonies to thrive within feet of your foundation. Not only can they eat you out of house and home, but it might also be a while before you even know you have a termite infestation. Our program is designed to monitor for termites for you so that you can catch an infestation early and avoid extensive damage.
Feeding On Your Property
Stop structural damage with our dual-action termite monitoring and liquid barrier treatments.
Termites cause billions in structural damage annually by consuming cellulose-based materials within your home's framework. Top Turf termite control specialists are knowledgeable in building construction, termite biology, termite behavior, and the proper and safe use of pesticides. You're in good hands with us.
Dual Action Termite Control
Our treatment is dual action in order to better protect your home. It consists of two state-of-the-art termite defense techniques providing homeowners with maximum protection from costly termite damage.
- Bait stations: We install perimeter stations to detect termite activity before they reach your foundation. In these stations is a slow-acting bait that worker termites carry back to the colony, eventually eliminating the queen and collapsing the colony from within. Stations are checked quarterly by our specialists.
- Liquid barrier: A long-lasting treatment applied to the soil around your foundation that kills termites on contact and repels new colonies from entering.
** When all active termite colonies are eliminated, there is always the possibility that a new colony can re-populate. For this reason, we do not remove the bait stations from your perimeter after elimination. Instead, we will return on a regular basis to re-inspect the bait stations to ensure that re-infestation does not occur, unless you decide to cancel the service.
Termite Warning Signs
Termites are called "silent destroyers" for a reason — most homeowners don't know they have a problem until the damage is already done. In the Southeast, subterranean termites are especially sneaky because they live underground and tunnel through wood from the inside out, leaving the exterior surface intact until significant damage has occurred.
Here's what to look for:
- Mud tubes along your foundation or walls. Subterranean termites build pencil-width mud tubes to travel between the soil and your home while staying protected from open air. Finding these along your foundation, basement walls, or crawl space is one of the clearest signs of an active colony.
- Hollow-sounding wood. Tap along baseboards, door frames, and wooden beams. If it sounds hollow or papery instead of solid, termites may have eaten the interior while leaving the surface intact.
- Termite swarmers and discarded wings. In spring, reproductive termites (swarmers) emerge from established colonies to start new ones. If you see flying insects near light sources — or piles of discarded wings on windowsills, door frames, or vents — a colony is likely nearby.

- Doors and windows that suddenly stick. As termites tunnel through door frames and window casings, they produce moisture that causes wood to warp. If doors or windows that used to open smoothly are suddenly sticking, it's worth having your home inspected.
- Frass (termite droppings). Drywood termites push their droppings out of small holes in the wood, leaving tiny piles of pellets that look like sawdust or coffee grounds near baseboards or furniture.
- Paint that bubbles or blisters. This is easy to mistake for water damage, but bubbling or uneven paint on walls or wood surfaces can indicate termites tunneling just beneath, creating pockets of moisture as they go.
If you notice any of these signs (or just want peace of mind!), our dual-action termite monitoring system detects activity early, before it becomes a costly structural problem.

Alex monitors our house for termite activity and always takes the time to explain to us what he's looking for and when he has concerns. I used to worry about termites eating our house away but I always have peace of mind knowing he is always on the lookout for us.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
What are subterranean termites and why are they common in the Southeast?
Subterranean is an adjective that means situated, occurring, or operating beneath the surface of the earth. Unlike drywood termites, subterranean termites live underground and build mud tubes to access the wood in your home, making them difficult to detect without regular monitoring.
Subterranean termites are the most destructive termite species in North America — and the Southeast is one of their favorite places to live. The warm temperatures, high humidity, and moisture-rich soils across Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Texas create ideal year-round conditions for colonies to thrive.
-
How quickly can termites do damage to my home?
If there is a full-on termite infestation (about 2 million termites), they can do serious damage in the first several months, and pretty much completely destroy a house in 1 to 2 years.
That's why we try to catch your problem early, before an infestation has begun. We can minimize damage if we detect activity early.
-
Once you install the bait stations, how often do you monitor them for activity?
We will come back and check on your bait stations regularly throughout the year. If you suspect termite activity in between visits, just give us a call and we will be happy to come check on your bait stations.
-
What happens if termites come back after treatment?
If termite activity is detected at any of your bait stations during a routine inspection, we'll address it as part of your ongoing program — that's the whole point of the continuous monitoring system. Even after an active colony is eliminated, we leave the bait stations in place and continue checking them regularly, because new colonies can always attempt to move in. You're covered as long as you stay on the program.
-
How is your Termite Control program priced?
Our Termite Control is based on the severity of the problem. If the treatment is just preventive, it is priced differently than an infestation. Please fill out the form or give your local branch a call for a free quote with your specific pricing!
-
How do I know if I have termites or just ants?
It's a common mix-up, especially during swarming season. Here's how to tell them apart:
Termites Ants - Straight antennae
- Thick waist
- Two pairs of wings equal in length
- Elbowed (bent) antennae
- Pinched waist (separate body pieces)
- Wings of unequal length

Termite swarmers also tend to shed their wings quickly after landing, so piles of equal-length wings near windowsills are a telltale sign. When in doubt, don't guess — give us a call and we'll come take a look.
-
Will termite treatment harm my lawn, plants, or pets?
No. Our treatments are applied by trained specialists who follow all label requirements and take care to protect your lawn, plants, and landscaping. For liquid barrier treatments, we typically ask that people and pets stay off the treated area until it has fully dried — your technician will let you know exactly what to expect before they begin.
-
Do you offer a termite inspection before treatment?
Yes! Before we recommend a treatment plan, your technician will assess your property for signs of termite activity and identify any high-risk areas. If termites are present, we'll let you know the extent of the activity and walk you through your options. If it's just preventive monitoring you're after, we can get your bait stations installed and start protecting your home right away.
